About

Hi,

I'm Dr. Jennifer

Martin-Biggers,

PhD, MS, RDN

The mission of Nutrition in the Wild is to bring real (aka evidence-based) nutrition information out into the world and directly to YOU. There is so much confusion and fatigue surrounding how we nourish ourselves. I want to help make it a little easier and lift the fog.

I am a nutrition research communications expert, specializing in promoting behavior change and communicating nutrition research to a variety of audiences. I have spent my over 10 year long career in nutrition and dietetics in a variety of areas, including clinical diabetes research, in-patient medical nutrition therapy, community nutrition, academic research and teaching, and the nutraceutical industry. I am knowledgeable on monitoring and assessing trends in nutrition, as well as developing, monitoring, and evaluating effective strategies to encourage healthy behavior adoption. I am an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the American Society for Nutrition, and the Institute for Food Technologists.  I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and have a BS in Dietetics, MS in Nutrition, and PhD in Nutrition Sciences.
